Solution + overview
Picture yourself as a project manager, trying to keep track of countless documents, requests, and updates across a complex project.
Now, picture a platform that organizes everything in one place—simplifying communication, tracking progress, and ensuring transparency.
That’s what I built for PWC: a cloud-based solution that streamlines digital processes, and keeps everything on track.

Problem
Unifying Complexity
A consulting company constantly faces challenges—complex client requirements, tight deadlines, evolving market dynamics, and resource constraints. Consultants and their clients—spanning industries like finance, healthcare, and technology—struggled to track progress, exchange critical documents, and collaborate effectively. The challenge was to design a unified platform that simplified these processes while being flexible enough to serve diverse industries.

Process
Optimized operations
I led the UX lifecycle from concept to execution, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure user-centered design at every stage. After conducting user research, I created wireframes and prototypes, refining designs based on continuous feedback.
A core challenge was eliminating fragmented communication and streamlining document sharing. To address this, we developed a centralized engagement center within the platform, where clients and consultants could easily manage documents, track requests, and monitor engagement progress in real time. This not only improved workflow efficiency but also brought greater transparency to every stage of the process.
As we worked on automating certain aspects of the platform to improve efficiency, we made sure that critical decision-making still involved human oversight. We integrated automated tools like reporting, request tracking, and smart notifications, but always ensured that the system allowed for manual intervention when necessary, keeping the balance between automation and human expertise.
Using Mendix, we accelerated development and ensured scalability, allowing the platform to expand globally and integrate future enhancements without disruption.
Learning
Balancing Perfection & Practicality
This project showed me how important it is to keep things simple. When everyone follows the same basic rules, they can spend more time solving real problems instead of debating small details. I also learned how helpful it is to work closely with different teams—it kept everyone on the same page and sped things up. I discovered that facilitating regular cross-functional workshops dramatically improved adoption rates of the new system.
It also highlighted the limitations of using out-of-the-box solutions like Mendix. As someone who tends to focus on design perfection, it was a challenge to adapt to what the platform could actually do. I had to learn how to balance my ideal vision with the practical constraints of the tools at hand. It was a valuable lesson in managing expectations and staying flexible.
